Reporter tries and fails to buy gun at Walmart ...

No doubt thought it would be easy and she could walk
out with it tucked under her arm so being able to prove
    how lax the laws are.
Ha ha - she failed the background check.

A senior correspondent for Business Insider investigated "the availability of guns at Walmart" by attempting to purchase a firearm, but proved unable to

Or.... maybe she knew she wouldn't pass the back ground check with opposing addresses... just so she could report how " difficult it was "

a real " anti " reporter would have used her time to mention the multiple purchases she made in the parking lot of the local gun show.... just saying ...

I guess we'll have to take our hats off to her -- she told the truth.

Of course, now she'll be drummed out of the Liberal Elite.

she did not fail the background check,

one was never ran on her,

she failed to provide proper documentation to prove where she lived,

I betcha if the clerk had let that part slide, it was have been a full report, film at 11 kinda story

BTW, there are other inaccuracies in the article

the form pictured, SP-65, is the form we use to run the background check, (called or transmitted online to the state police)
it does not ask for address, she would put that on the 4473 only, which needs to be done first,,

in Va, each dealer is registered with the State Police and each seller has a Seller ID,
if you do not have the ID number, you can show, handle, teach, demo etc but cannot do the paperwork,

the Walmart in the picture is 10 miles from my house,,,,
