It's an old truism and it still holds true today, unfortunately.
Bill de Blazio - unarguably the worst Mayor New York has ever had,
yet it's people voted for him, and probably would again.
The same holds true for all the democrat run cities such as
Chicago and Baltimore where people are being shot raped and
mugged every few seconds - yet those people voted for the
politicians who put them through this misery day after day.
It sure as hell makes you want to scratch your head and
think about 2020. Are there enough idiots whose votes could
turn the whole country in a bigger version of Chicago or Baltimore ?
We'd better hope not, yet look at the absolute morons with their
moronic platforms who hope to become the next democrat President.
Do they know something we don't about the American populace ?

Lincoln was a traitor and i care less about anything he says. IMO, people don't get the Gov. they deserve, There's a lot of sorrow and death around countries with natural resource and such countries are in dire need of a good governance but their leaders rather be dealers than an example for the future.

Putting aside the Civil War and all the animosity arising therefrom, I have to say that people DO get what they deserve -- look at us, we threw out a bad government and instituted our own. Any people who tolerate bad government deserve bad government.
