It seems that most, if not all, of our Canadian friends have punched out of the Forum because of the stooges.

Mission accomplished for the stooge/stooges. Those that reply to their comments are a part of it. Next stage is to try to get everyone else to quit this forum. I suppose in their feeble minds they somehow think this will get a commie democrat elected. I believe this anti-Trump s**t only solidifies every one to vote for Trump. I mean, like who else would a person vote for, brain dead biden?

Seriously, you can't believe Trump's dad didn't shop for a doc (renting space in a Trump owned building) for a favor for his boy. Bill went long on college deferments, getting good enough grades that he could go to England, all while "not inhaling", true. Meanwhile W got a plumb spot in the TANG, but his service there is not exactly free of controversy. Al Gore went to Viet Nam, as a reporter, and so not under fire. But not taking summers in Maine, either.

Obama like me came of service age at a time when it was a volunteer force with no shooting war, at a time when military service was considered a professional choice or job training opportunity. I talked to the recruiters for a bit, but in the end decided I could do alright just heading to school. One recruiter remembered me fondly. This was a time when they would still come to the high school, and I found myself in a debate in front of the recruiters' table with one mom over whether or not the army had any business being in the high school. I said they did, she said they didn't.

Lyman, why should I be jealous if other men's wives are photographed giving golden looks to the Canadian PM? I subscribe to the belief that looking is harmless, and anyways, it's funny because it's other guys' wives. As for getting that kind of action as Justin does, I can see it being a curse.

recruiters were in my highschool as well,

no ROTC tho,

Dad was Army Reserve, both weekend duty and full time civilian,

I wanted to fly helicopters, and the recruiter suggested I start in as a quartermaster and work my way up,,

I wasn't that stupid and passed, going to college instead,

no draft them, but we did have to register with selective service
