    Walmart caves

As expected, Walmart caves to the liberals. They haven't sold pistols nor most semi rifles here for some time. What they offer in the line of guns is a joke but it has been a convenient place to buy ammo. The only gun I have ever bought at WM was a Ruger 10-22 SS many years ago and only because of the laminated stock. If I had known beforehand that the receiver was aluminum I would have passed on it too.

Now they are going to discontinue pistol ammo and rifle ammo that short barreled rifles shoot. This should really stop all the shooting crimes for sure !!!!!!!!

To stay PC compliant now they need to stop selling cigarettes, wine, beer, ice picks, screw drivers, all types of knives and most of all those dreaded assault hammers.

As I said in previous threads with them reducing cashiers, it looks like they are trying to go out of business.

Walmart is set to end sales of handguns in Alaska and will discontinue the sale of short-barrel rifle and handgun ammunition in stores nationwide, the super chain's president and CEO announced Tuesday afternoon.

This news will help the gunshop that I now work in so this could be a positive for local gun shops. As for .22 I now buy mine in case lots, much cheaper and no sales tax. How long before another "real" killers are now banned. I am talking about ethanol and tobacco products?

Gun manager at the local WallyWorld agreed sales of their low value outdoor crap will likely suffer. Either you are pro-2A or not. Lots of LGS are competitive on the entry level stuff and have decent stuff for not much more.

What caused Walmart to stop selling ammo was the slaughter of some of their customers in one of their stores. Cause, and effect. These changes don't occur in a vacuum, and it's why I take positions against irresponsible gun ownership.

Now if we could just have some action against irresponsible use of intoxicants and so called "medicines".

yet you advocate restricting sales and similar polices vs taking action against the individual,

The murder of some of Walmart shoppers was an excuse to get out of a low profit high cost retail category. Walmart announced in 2015 that they were taking AR's out of the stores because of sluggish sales. They introduced the firearms when an AR was going for $1000 or better. I'm a professional retail manager and I bet the Walmart analysists who evaluate sales per sq feet of shelve space were pushing to put something more profitable in the space and the murders gave them the reason too. They are also banning open carry in their stores which while it makes news headlines it will not impact their normal shoppers. I live in an open carry state and I've only seen three people shopping while open carrying. I carry but prefer to carry concealed.

It was a good place to buy 6000 BB's and a nice Red Ryder BB gun. Not to mention their Crossman pellets. These things NLA. I have no reason to go to Walley World, not even to take pictures of their customers.

Lyman, please quit asking questions his retarded intellect cannot comprehend. Togey has to take valued time to search NS sites for a response being unable to think for him/her self.
