    Colt again?

Colt states in a reported news release the stopping of civilian AR-15's. Here we go again!

Just makes my Colt AR more valuable. In the mean time, I will shoot one of my many clones instead.

It sounded as though it was temporary because of demand
from police and military and private demand for 911s.
They also said there was plenty of inventory to cover private sales.

I thought they had stopped the AR15 long ago when they stopped selling pistols to civilians. Well with about a hundred companies making the AR they won't be missed.

PSA sells the complete lowers assembled for $120-$130 and the complete uppers assembled w/bolt and carrier for $220 ($200 on sale) so $340 for a complete rifle or you can buy one at a gun shop for $895.

The elephant in the room is the fact that Colt has been assembling ARs from contracted parts for some years. The manufacturers will stamp any name your desire on the parts.

                yep, they have

re lowers, other than billet, which just about anyone with a CnC machine can mill, the cast/forged lowers are only made by a handful of companies, (and sell them to other companies )

The aluminum doesn't know the name on the building where it is machined.
