When the Nation's Kids can't read the protest signs they carry
it doesn't bode well for the future. The people who actually wrote
the signs will be the ones rising to important positions in various
government agencies. These people are probably only slightly
more educated than their sign carriers but as - "In the valley of
the blind, the one-eyed man is king" so it will be with this lot.
Of course with AI (Robots) on the rise and taking over production,
these masses of uneducated kids won't need a skill anyway as
they'll just till the soil for themselves and drill for oil for the Robots'
lubrication. "Metropolis"
