No one mentions the Treaty between the US and Ukraine ...

For investigating criminal activity, which means Trump
was perfectly within his rights in asking the Ukraine
President to investigate Biden's son and the corruption
    surrounding him.
Treaty signed by Clinton - still in effect.
You have to assume Trump's lawyers are fully aware of
this, or at least one hopes so.

    At last. Fox mentioned it.
I was beginning to think it would go unnoticed.
It seems a rather important fact which undermines
Pelosi's case, and gives impetus to investigating Biden
    and his son.

A plain reading of the facts suggests a far simpler motive for the phone call and withholding of aid. And somehow that treaty wasn't near and dear to Trump's heart when Manafort was convicted by a jury that had at least 1 and maybe 2 #MAGA hats on it.

And if this was a routine matter for law enforcement then why was Giuliani up to his neck in it? Is DT ignoring the known facts of the case and instead just lapping up right wing media spin?

You would have to provide specifics for that claim to have any merit. So far your comments on this Ukraine business avoid any direct discussion of the central acts themselves.

Not on this subject, and the information in those articles were sourceable from conservative sites as well. Or is your position that if a site posts something you don't like then all content thereafter from that site is tainted.

With respect to this Ukraine business, the mainstream news outlets are centering their coverage on known facts which are not in dispute. It's the right wing outlets that are out there pushing irrelevant distraction. Case in point: idea that the whistleblower letter is anonymous heresay. So what? Law enforcement uses such tips all the time. Hear something at a mosque and tell the FBI, thereby stopping a terrorist plot? Good for you, Mr. American! So far the whistleblower's letter is corroborated.

no, actually I read those sometimes to get a feel for what the site stands for,

vox and slate have a very left leaning position ,

The central point for the Democrats is their belief that NO Democrat running for office can be investigated for any reason, and that every Republican candidate (or nominee) must be investigated by Democrat operatives in and out of the government.

Remember, for the Republicans the Democrats follow the Napoleonic rule of justice.

If you mean the French revolution, Robespierre (read Pelosi), overseer of executions eventually
met Madame La Guillotine himself - head on - because of his excesses.

And shot himself first -- and made a pig's breakfast of it.
