How did I Know this was Coming...

The Judge is a Democrat, but sometimes even that won't save you from the thought NAZIs.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation has filed a complaint after Texas Judge Tammy Kemp gave Amber Guyger a Bible after being convicted of murder

What the DA says in the article is true. Public officials in this state do sometimes act as this judge did. When I was "on the job" in the Texas stage of my career I saw lots of cops, especially supervisors, with a Bible in the rack of books and manuals on their desk. More than one has told somebody in custody that it was "the time to come to Jesus" and they weren't using the expression metaphorically.

The FFRF has a tin ear when it comes to faith and religion. Arguably they have a point when someone wants to put up a giant replica of the Ten Commandments outside the courthouse, but this wasn't that. This was Christianity at its best, and the judge wasn't being a judge anymore. I hope whomever receives this complaint tells the FFRF to stuff it.

This is Texas so I'm pretty sure that the Texas Bar will take your advice.

Just like queers. These bazar organizations form, try to take over and over ride the very foundations this country was built on.

I despise Bible thumpers. They are weak people that can't live a good life on their own. They have to have a crutch that allows them to think they are a child of Christ despite the bad sheet they have done, it is okay if they can pay another Bible thumper to say all is forgiven... forever. If you don't agree 100% with the "thumpers," then you are going to Hell.

A really good person that managed to follow both the Ten Commandants, and the 10 Bill Of Rights Amendments , is bound for Hell because he doesn't go to church and tithe. (ie. give 10% of every honest dollar he earned to a charlatan, scam artist that claims to talk to God.)

The Stooges think that anybody that hopes his country will strive and be great are stupid, anti socialists, and believe everybody else should wind up in the same graveyard that 500,000+ good people that denied and opposed the Socialist Religion has been buried.

Socialism has never worked i the history of humanity,,, yet we have stooges that think otherwise.

This Judge is a Bible thumper.

Flaming me and Art in the same post. I'll say this for Red, he has range. Lousy aim, but range.

Oh and Red, for whatever positive things you want to say about Trump, one thing you can't say is that he provides a good blueprint for people in struggling rural communities to come together and cooperate on making their communities better. For that they have to look elsewhere. Of course just saying that makes me a traitor, liberal, etc. Which is part of your problem.

It's the rural communities that gave Trump his biggest support including the Bible belt. I don't see them voting blue anytime soon.

Most religions set a standard to live by and the Laws in most countries are established based on those standards. Even if you are a non believer you still follow the laws in those counties.. So religion has a big impact on people and their behavior, Ray
