I've never heard of 90% of these characters ...

My last viewing of a comic figure was Batman, and that was
    due mainly to Michelle Pheifer.
And talking of Catwomen, there's a nice looking one here:

most of them yes, but then again I read comics (and collected them) until the early 2000's

and watched most of the DC movies and about 1/2 the marvel stuff

When I was 9 or 10 I would go to school with my comics
as did the other kids. At break time we would get to trading.
No one wanted a Tom Mix. Superman, Captain Marvel and
the other Marvels plus Batman were the favorites.
My bookshelf now has two big hardbacks Superman and
Captain Marvel (CM was my favorite hero as a kid).

How come Aquaman's "trident" (literally, "Three teeth") has five prongs?

Michelle Pheifer. My favorite part. I don't pay attention to any of it anymore.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

We don't need a remake of an old movie every so many years regardless of what it is. Hollywood needs new ideas but is just interested in politics these days.

As far as the constant Batman movies go I'll always believe the episode with George Clooney and Chris O'donnell destroyed it and ended it for all time.

Jack Nicholson's Joker and Michael Keaton's Batman were close to the comic books, kinda

              the rest, not so much,

Nolan's trilogy based off Miller's Batman was excellent, , (Ledger's Joker was also excellent)

I read the DC comics 1960-1967, I feel like a real dinosaur. But as William Shatner said "Those are made up stories, folks."

I read them '47-'52. I remember the dinosaurs.
