Some Russian pranksters recently punk'd Lindsay Graham. I remember after the election, Dick Hosmer pointed out, accurately, that Trump wasn't surrounding himself with "yes" men. Those days seem like an eternity ago. Now, sycophancy is the rule of the day, and nobody embraces it with more abandon than Rudy although Graham can come close.

who is Felix Slater ? .... please do continue to keep me on the ignore ...... but surely you will be curious enough to investigate who all these friends of Rudy are ....

Speaking of Rudy, I saw this photo. Sublime camera work that really captures the essence of the man.



As far as Felix Slater goes. Look, there's a reason this administration fights tooth an nail to keep secrets from coming out, and even the base knows what it is. Trump was in the NYC commercial real estate and casino businesses. These are sleazy undertakings where the mafia gets involved, and where dealing with government officials in an underhanded way is part of the game. Given that Trump has shown zero interest in seeing the government run any different than Trump, Inc., everyone understands that a bunch of sleazy sh*t gas gone down in the White House since Trump moved in.

Now what is slightly amusing to me is that if you surveyed the GOP rank and file in say 2014, and asked if someone with Trump's business bio was the right candidate for 2016 (absent the Trump name from the question) they would have given that bio a low score.

Trump has convinced people that his fight is theirs, by appeal to animal instincts. That has taken him pretty far. But ultimately people want to be treated like men not animals, and so therein lies the opening for the right candidate.

Love this story as it unfolds. The two ex-Soviets were arrested before boarding flights with one way tickets. And they were scheduled to meet up with Rudy again in Vienna. If this isn't a classic case of "we're blown, let's get out of Dodge and then get our stories straight" then I will be surprised. Meanwhile Biden is using it for fodder at his campaign events. Letting Trump be Trump is revealing.
