It seems pretty obvious to me that Pelosi jumped the gun
by publicly announcing the start of impeachment investigations
before Trump upped the ante by releasing the full transcript of
his Ukraine call. But once the bullet leaves the muzzle, how the
hell do you call it back ? You can't, so, go ahead and hope that
something other than the phone call will appear so that you can
extricate your tit from the wringer. A whistleblower or two timely
conjured up by the pencil neck was just what was needed.
Trouble is they were literally 'conjured' up so have to be kept
secret. Secrets don't stay secrets for ever, so what to do as the
impeachment scam gradually falls apart ? How does she escape
without looking like a complete idiot ?
Any suggestions for a damsel in distress ?

The Dims are running on the Get Rid Of Trump (GROT) platform... no where do you see anything but crazy promises that will be impossible to fulfill. Warrens promise to give medicare to everybody could only be supported for 4 months if the U.S. spent zero money on defense... No Army, no Navy, no Air Force, no USMC. no Coast Guard. and that is just for 4 months. It doesn't matter because we are all going to be dead in 12 years anyway.

Red what you're not saying is that Trump is fighting tooth and nail the release of anything incriminating, with almost everything locked up as he loses more than he wins in the lower courts. That state of affairs is hardly what anyone can call an exoneration based on evidence.

They can't wiggle out of the issue. All they can do now is charge ahead. Kinda reminds me of going over the top in WW1. I believe what is happening is the hard core Democrat voter is going to support the party just as the Republican voter is going to support the party and those swing voters have to make up their minds which way they go. The Dem leadership knows that and is counting on their strategy being correct.
