With a year to go before election time and with the twenty
or so hopefuls promising more and more freebies every time
they appear on camera, I'm wondering just what each of those
left standing will have committed himself or herself to by the
time November 2020 arrives.
In any society you're going to have your share of those who
either do not have the skill necessary to support themselves,
or are just too lazy to work. But no society can survive for too
long if it has too many of those.
This apparently is what our resident Indian, Stalinist and any
survivors of the primaries are hoping for - enough idlers who
won't question how they'll deliver this Utopia.
I'm looking forward to their next round of promises. A Chicken
in every Pot and a Car in every garage ?
Make mine an Aston Martin.

But there is no limit there -- they pander to the people who say, "I shouldn't have to work."

Actually I have but not enough people do.

I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for paying off my college loan.

My ancestors came from Europe. Going back far enough I'm sure one or more of them may have been a slave. I'm waiting for retributions. This will need to be paid to me long before any blacks collect since this would have happened centuries ago.

I still think the world should go green and all cars, buses, planes and homes be powered with a AAA battery.

I think every one should be given a few thousand dollars every month so it will help balance out the wealth.

I think the successful people we like to call the "rich" should pay for everyone else.

I think the homeless in SF should be given mansions to compensate for their discomfort.

I think illegals should have more freedoms and rights here than citizens

I think guns should be taken from law abiding citizens so the criminals will feel bad about owning one and turn theirs in.

Oh wait.... I'm starting to sound like the democrat debates now.
