And regarding Schiff, overlooked is that the GOP committee members have equal time in the star chamber. Maybe they should put it to better use. Schiff is using the power that being in the House Majority affords him to create a space where people can come and tell their story without interference from Trump Admin lawyers or camera grandstanding by GOP committee members. And guess what? People have a story to tell, and the pieces interlock with each other and the known public facts of the case. People aren't just making random sh*t up. This is the real deal, which is why Trump is more PO'd than his usual baseline.

          A few things.

          1) The different stories interlock reasonably well so far, which is a good indicator that they were all at the same crash site, even if from different vantage points
          2) Some of them saved the texts and were happy to bring them in. Or notes written along the way.
          3) They're under oath, and as a rule when people under oath are trying to hide things, their memories selectively go to hell. (See Lewandowski, Corey.) Does not seem to be the case here.

Plus we know a lot that is public. Like the fact that the funds cut cut loose by Pompeo (overriding White House orders of the moment) 2 days after the IC notified Congress that he had a report in-hand. So far I'm yet to see a defense rooted in something other than attacking the messengers, or maybe now, fantasy thinking that this never happened. Were it not for the fact that the WH released a rough transcript of the "perfect" call. Amazingly enough, no one close to the facts of the case is disputing them. For once.

My fault. I assumed everyone here listened to Rush.
That's his pet name for Schiff.

You may not have been expecting the inquisition - but it's here although not in Spanish

You listen to Rush, DT? You know he's just kidding. It's all just for entertainment. He has said so himself.

No kidding! Child Protective Services has taken children for far less offenses by parents.
