Elija Cummings - far more popular now that he's dead ...

He was worthless when alive, but his moving onwards
and upwards, or more likely, downwards, has seemingly
    much improved his image.
All this hero worshiping is nothing but a farce.

And Hilary tossing around accusations of corruption really takes the cake.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Elijah Cummings, Hillary's accusations at his funeral reaches another level of slime politics.

I read some quick headlines. I guess Obama mentioned its OK to be kind. Hillary made reference to a biblical quote, which I guess upsets evangelicals.

"...Clinton said to loud applause that “like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel."

Who knew people were such fans of Mr. Cummings, that this would offend their sensibilities?

Trump tweets beyond that level before most people are awake in the morning. Anyone who things that Trump's opponents are out-lowering the bar on him need to get with Twitter and the rallies more.

She was the bottom of the ocean years ago. That's why she didn't carry Arkansas -- we were her neighbors and we know her.

I agree since the Clintons are always setting new unthinkable record low acts.

It's amazing how death can affect a person and their persona. Ted Kennedy is in his tenth year of sobriety. Congratulations Teddy, from your friend and supporter, Mary Jo.

Lower than whale excrement? Nailed it. I was watching the Good morning America show(or the one with the Big Sun). They had this guy who was expressing his views about former presidents(David McCullough). It was about the really famous presidents and how(in the day) they said some pretty racial things. Pushed through laws that restricted immigration. But are considered great these days.
So the guy asked him, how would you analise Trump in the future? He blurted out, "don't have to look to the future, (me)he sucks and is awful today". So the guy asked, [me again] what does it take to be a president that gets looks well upon in the future". Well, says the old guy, it's someone who does what needs to be done, regardless of the immediate ramafacations". Hmm, maybe I read it all wrong.
Of course, there was the mention of Lincoln; who wouldn't speak spontaneously after elected. He said, words matter. Our current Chief hasn't learned that. But most humans are guilty of that.

Now that Elija Cummings is gone, maybe Baltimore can begin to heal and clean up its' streets.

Baltimore is like Detroit right? Cleaning up will be hard. It would call for someone tough.
