Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman .... an American

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman ... 20 + years in the service... of the United States of America .

20+ years of doing what he was trained to do do ..... protect us all.

How many here believe he did us a disservice as some of the " fake news" would lead us to believe... ?

    just asking

Personally I believe in the likes of Col. Vindman ... and the members of the CIA, FBI,... NSA. They are still the good guys who have my back....

you guys can have your Ivankas and Kushners .... and those who put them into your government

So far no one here has said a bad word about him. Hopefully that continues.

If he wasn't speaking out against Trump you would never have heard of him, never said a word about him or even bring the subject up.

His service means nothing to you as you would glorify anyone who would speak ill of our president.

You are correct.I wouldn't have heard of him ... if not for Trump . I believe what he did was correct no matter who the President might be .

You on the other hand would demean anyones service unless it was in the glorification of Trump .... the man has already been attacked .And he's less worthy an attack than our president

Was he speaking out against Trump or reporting what he saw and upholding his oath to the Constitution?

And you don't know what his or any other vet's service means to me so don't presume you do.

We will wait to hear what he has to say and whether it is corroborated by other testimony, documents, etc. Those of us who have served know that raising one's right hand and promising "to support and defend" and putting on the uniform is no guarantee of character, integrity, credibility, etc.

You have to question his loyalty.

He may or may not be ratting on the president but in any case look at who he's aiding---the enemy of America---the democrat party.

Not everyone who joins the military does so to serve our nation. I've known some who joined to evade the law. Some join to make a career of it with good job security. Most, of course, do join to serve and give it their all. Now, where does this guy stand? Why didn't he come forward long ago? Someone paying him off?

Regardless of the outcome, the votes, the BS, Trump hasn't committed an impeachable crime and isn't going anywhere and those aren't just my words. You might as well get use to it. He will be in office another 5 years then perhaps Pence, Don Jr. or Ivanka will follow so maybe something else to get use to.

Trump can easily end this impeachment inquiry.

So who is this rat Vindman... he was passed over the promotion to Colonel for a reason... In the military if your time in service rates a promotion and you are “passed over,” there is a reason.

So why and how does this failed officer receive any credibility?

Look At The Oath Of Office

Federal civil servants, high ranking government officials, and uniformed military all take an oath before God to stay loyal to the Constitution of the United States, which among other things, spells out a separation of powers, and more importantly, limits on that power. The oath is not to the chain of command.

Does even the most ardent supporter of the current president propose to change the oath? Make it a personal oath of loyalty to the president?

If not, then even the most loyal supporter has to understand that people can see stuff and then, as a matter of conscience, have to report it. For anyone who remembers their American high school civics, this should be an easy concept. If you didn't have civics in an American high school, then your confusion is understandable.

He reported it to the White House lawyer. How is that a Democrat conspiracy?
