lots of seats up for grabs, and there is a strong chance of a 'blue wave' in state,

You can bet I am going to vote that Shelly Simonds doesn''t win the 94th district. She tied David Yancey in the last election with something like 11,608 votes. Made international news. She told my wife that I could have voted for her and helped her win. She is a liberal POS. She knows that I am a conservative and would never vote for her.....

I was amazed at the political ads on TV Friday afternoon , wife and I were having some pizza and listening to the local news,, ad after ad after ad ,,

By far, Northern Virginia is the most populated area in the State. It is populated by the same people that populate Washington DC... and that is the deep state members of the swamp.

Deep state definition:

a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy.

So, it is a fact of life that Virginia is a lost cause. It will be a Democrat/Socialist/utopia that looks like San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, etc. It is over there like it is over in CA, WA, OR, and other places that freedom of speech, the right to work hard and succeed still exists.

A large fraction of Federal employees are ex-military. Did you know that? People who took multiple oaths to the Constitution against a few who if they did, had their fingers crossed as they said the words.

Many DC area locals will hold down clerk type jobs. Other spots will go to people with college degrees. The voting habits of these people may be accurately guessed at, but this is nowhere close to proof that they have self-organized into a giant anti-Trump conspiracy. Conspiracies are tough to pull off. Look at the one Trump was running in Ukraine and how it backfired on him. The bigger the conspiracy is, the more likely a weak link.

NOVA and the Tidewater are heavy military and heavy Gov,

add RVA, Roanoke, Charlottesville and a few other hot spots and you have a large Dem voting block, and has been for years

the rest of the state is not, however the population is much lower,

kinda like NY,, ruled by the big cities,


between the monies flowing in from outside, and the local GOP floundering,, the elections went the wrong way
