I know the political preference here is for Trump to keep his story under wraps, but it's hard to argue with this:

“DOJ promotes a conception of separation-of-powers principles that gets these constitutional commands exactly backwards....In reality, it is a core tenet of this Nation’s founding that the powers of a monarch must be split between the branches of the government to prevent tyranny.”

Let's hope the higher courts see it that way too.

I was raised to believe that we had a trilogy of wise people who kept the balance. People are human. They can get lazy(or old). Maybe sometimes someone has to come along to slap them around a little. I'm not sure how one person can reverse the intent of the nation with a tweet. The withdrawal of troops, while a great thing in my opinion mystyphies(sp) me some.
The response I see is lame. "I heard. I was appalled. I thought it was unacceptable"(the Ukrainian stuff. There must have been fifty people listening in).
No question, there is a problem. Maybe Trump is the,well, maybe not the answer, but the slow realization that there is a problem. Things move faster these days. They move fast on twitter.

This ruling, being unconstitutional, will be overturned in SCOTUS. 'Social Justice' Justices such as Jackson always override the Constitution if they 'feel' it's for 'Social Justice' purposes.

Even if SCOTUS doesn't overturn it, (which they will) McGann could easily claim Executive Privilege.

But seriously, can he or anyone explain why separation of powers isn't intended to do precisely what she described, which is to divide the absolute powers of the monarch amond three separate branches. Where is the flaw in that reasoning?
