I told you earlier and I tell you again, it's Michelle ...

who'll be up against Trump in 2020. All the other hopefuls
are worthless and couldn't be elected dogcatcher.
Why do you suppose obama hasn't endorsed anyone
especially his ex VP, Biden ? It's because he's trying his
best to talk his wife into jumping in early(ish) next year.
If he endorsed anyone now it would be embarrassing if and
when Michelle entered the fray as he would be forced to snatch
away the endorsement in favor of his wife.
Trouble is, she could be a real threat by taking back all the
Black voters who've been slowly evaporating from the democrat
ranks and moving towards Trump. Plus she'd get the voters
who'd been ardent obama followers. Finally, obama himself
would love to get back in the White House and be the 'power
    behind the throne'.
I hope I'm wrong because she could be real trouble. She might
not want to do it but she probably will under pressure from hubby
and in order to keep peace in the household.
    Trouble is, I don't think I'm wrong.

I disagree. I think when (if) Trump is impeached, ol' Hillary will go in.
Actually, Pelosi runs the government, not Trump.

But will he be impeached ?
If he is then the Republicans will run things and will call
Shiff, Biden, Nadler and put them all under oath.
Trump will be exonerated and all the lies and plotting by
the democrats will be brought into the daylight for all to see.
That will be extremely embarrassing for Pelosi.
If Pelosi stops the impeachment from going any further
she'll have to face the wrath of the liberal fanatics and I'd
guess that would be really intense.
Censure is real iffy. Not really a choice.
If it goes to the full House for a vote to impeach, those
democrats up for election in Trump States will be between
those two hard rock places. Vote yes and risk getting voted out
or vote no and get hauled into Pelosi's dungeon for a whipping.
If the House votes and fails to impeach ? Pelosi's in deep doodoo.
There are no good choices for Pelosi here, but she made her bed.

How many of the other Democrat candidates have more experience? As has been pointed out, the best of them have plenty of resume and no accomplishments.

Hillary Clinton, for example, claims to be an expert on foreign policy because she sat in the Secretary of State's chair. This is called the Theory of Rectal Osmosis.

I'm not sure she/they/it can be put on the ballot at this point. I know the deadline differs from state to state but shouldn't. Bloomburg had to rush to different states to register his run before making his official announcement because of the states different deadline dates.

Seems to me, regardless of the party, the cut off or deadline date should be before the candidates have their debates. That way everyone has to debate and the voters can see more of what they're getting.

Between moochelle and ophray combined they only have one marble rattling around for a brain but like mentioned above it would be obama and his judges running things. I suppose much of her campaign money would come from the Saudi's (where hillary's money came from) or the brotherhood of muslims.

You may be right about deadlines. Seems to me the whole process
of running for President is far too complicated and time consuming.
As it is now the President's first term is largely spent campaigning
                    for the next term.

While some states may be solid red I assume a candidate would still want to be on the ballot in all 50 states.

In Arkansas vs US Term Limits the Supreme count ruled Arkansas could not put term limits on its Federal senators or congressmen. A state cannot put any obstacle to getting on the ballot that is not in the Constitution.

There is no deadline in the Constitution
There is no requirement in the Constitution for a representative to live in his district (only in the state.)
There is no prohibition in the Constitution against running for multiple offices.

I remember about a year ago Dennis Hof was running for some district office in Nevada. He died before the election but couldn't be removed from the ballot. He won the election. I do not recall all the time frames and dates.

He owned several legal brothels in Nevada and had a show on HBO about it.

I have to say that reading a review of the case, I agree with the minority opinion, written by Clarence Thomas.
