What does that have to do with what kind of president she would make any more so than what size shoe she wears?
In her case the question should be "how big a tee pee she lives in".Last edited by Gun Smoke; 12-01-2019, 02:46.Comment

Those that do file for bankruptcy do it by the laws of the land.
I don't like it but it is the law/laws. Many benefit from it, most don't.
I once had an employer who made off like a bandit by filing for bankruptcy. He wasn't a failure by any means, just a good businessman worth millions.
Trump owns 500 companies and employs 34,000 people. There's bound to be a bankruptcy here and there.

Imagine spending all that money to be a government employee?"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. UllmanComment

The "there's bound to be a bankrupt here and there" line of course seeks to dismiss the fact without denying it, or getting into the details at all to see what can be learned from them. In Trump's case, what is learned is that he has a penchant for making bad decisions impulsively, leading to a mess. Sounds like his Syria policy, yes? (Can elaborate if necessary.)Those that do file for bankruptcy do it by the laws of the land.

Liz by contrast was not bankrolled to the tune of $200M* by dad. She was youngest of 4 and her pop earned a living on the sales floor at Monkey Wards until a heart attack caught up with him.
Not saying you have to love Liz. I think she's too focused on the minutae of policy to be a good leader in a broad sense. However, in the Compelling Personal Narrative department she beats Trump hands down.
*We don't know if Trump's decision-making with that $200M stake from dad actually beats the S&P index over that time because he fights tooth and nail to keep his finances hidden. We simply don't know.Comment

Clearly you have no interest in plumbing Trump's past failures. But as 'trax pointed out, the next bubble is business debt and it's already huge. If a large chunk of the economy follows the Trump playbook all at once, well look out.Comment
