Unless Pelosi has some incriminating evidence on the 31 members
up for re-election - which wouldn't surprise me - I'm betting those
Members would rather face the Speaker's wrath than actually lose
their jobs. Why would they give up all the perks that go with the
job plus those enormous pensions. These democrats might be stupid,
but totally insane people have moments of lucidity, even if brief.
Of course they could get re-elected even if they voted Yes, but is
it worth the risk. Just think, if they lost their jobs they'd have to
find another that might require some kind of skill. Huh, fat chance.
