I still think it will fail as I said earlier because of the
vulnerable democrats, but if it does happen to pass
and goes to the Senate, what then ?
Trump wants to drag it out for months in order to put
Schiff and the others under oath, meantime preventing
several contenders from campaigning. All well and good.
But, trouble is, that route gives the charade credibility.
Unless I'm mistaken, O'Connell's idea is to dismiss the
thing in the first five minutes thereby proving beyond
doubt that the whole thing was a trumped up attempt
to reverse the 2016 election result (excuse the pun).
I'm with O'Connell. Throw the thing in the garbage where
it belongs, and quickly.
