If Israel dumps Netanyahu, will Trump dump Israel ? ...

With the conservative Right seemingly losing support in favor of an
Arab coalition, who will eventually gain control is up in the air.
But if Israel starts heading in the wrong direction I wonder how much
support they'll get from Trump. Israel is in a lot of crosshairs so it
will be pretty important as to how things go considering they don't have
too many friends in that part of the World, or anywhere else for that
    matter, except Trump.

Why would Trump (or any American President) care about Israel's internal affairs?

And what is the "wrong direction" for Israel?

Not internal affairs. It's the external affairs that could cause concern.
It's attitude toward the West Bank, Hamas, settlements etc. If she
      starts kowtowing.

Kowtowing to who? If Israel seeks peace -- true peace -- everything has to be on the table. Why should we object to Israel offering to evacuate the settlements, for example? How could that hurt us?

Have supported the secular state of Israel ever since I was able to read and think for myself. Without apology have supported Israel as legitimately rooted in the Old Testament promises of God to Israel. Must say, have not ever been willing to support w/o question Israel. I cannot and will not forget Israel targeting and attacking w/o cause U.S. Navy ship in international waters. Further cannot and will not forget Israel stealing defense secrets from the U.S. Absolutely inexcusable period. No matter what they say, no matter how they say it, their excuses do not hold water. Will as justified continue to support Israel. But, Israel will have to show a net benefit to the U.S. and not expect the donation of taxpayer money to prop up their lifestyle. Let them pay for what they want to do ... and not expect a U.S. subsidy. No different than requiring NATO countries to pay up their full share of defense costs rather than as past eras when the U.S. poured money down a european rathole. Sincerely. bruce.

            Exactly right.

Treat Israel like we treat any other country -- we support them to the extent they support us. No more and no less.

As for what they do externally, let them make their own decisions. I have noticed that when talking to people from other nations many of them have an insatiable desire to tell us how to run our country. I try to break then of that annoying habit by setting the example and NOT telling them how to run their country.
