How did the Gun Grabbers win in Virginia ? ...

Maybe because a lot of gun owners fell asleep and missed
voting because it didn't seem to matter anyway seeing as how
republicans had been in charge for around twenty years.
Whoops, we lost, so now we'd better wake up and do something.
OR; maybe it was just a flood of illegals who weren't supposed
to vote, but did. Whatever the reason, we now have a revolt
going on where the Governor has threatened use of the National
Guard to confiscate guns (maybe they would/maybe they'd refuse),
and cities are declaring themselves Sanctuaries.
    An interesting turn of events.

The Stoopid Party did not run candidates in 25% of the races.

the Gov is still hiding in his office most of the time since his blackface scandal,
it was McEachin ( a gerrymandered congress critter) that mentioned bringing in the Guard,
a bill has been put forth to fire any and all the do not do as told , re the county and state police as well,

as far as the VA GOP,,, they still have not woken up yet, and the NRA is still worrying about buying Wayne new suits

The old guard Republicans haven't been conservative for the past 50+ years. On the contrary they have been a part and parcel of the Deep State gang that have been running Washington DC, essentially since the Great Depression . The Bushes, the Romneys, the McCains have been running stupid campaigns and nobody has stood up to the deep State until Trump came along, Reagan was never supported by the old guard and his programs were sabotaged. He cut taxes with the promise of spending cuts but the old guard played along with the Deep State Dems and raised spending instead of cutting them.

The Republicans repeatedly have run absolute losers all over the country. In MO back in 2007 the Repubs ran a guy named Hawley for Senator that claimed rape was impossible... Claire McCaskill was a shoe in. Everybody in the State knew Hawley would lose but the RINOS persisted and McCaskill won and is still a Senator. More recently, Alabama Republicans ran a complete loser with a guarantee of a loss named Roy Moore with the same result. Trump warned them but they were deaf.

Conservatives finally have someone to stand up and fight for American Values of hard work and the American Dream. He is not supported by the RINO's. What the National Socialist Democrats haven't learned, is that in 2016 Many strong conservatives didn't support Trump and stood aside. That was then! Now there is almost no conservative that doesn't support Trump. Blacks support him 30%! Latinos about the same.!

Trump is fighting back... DT does not like his tweets, and wants him to quit complaining and defending himself and just lie down and let the Dems destroy him... like the Bushes.

The 2020 election will be largest landslide in American History.

I'd feel better about Trump's version of the American dream if he gave a sh*t about carbon emissions into the atmosphere and wasn't happy to run the economy and the government on IOUs. Ding me if you like, Red, but both assertions are undeniably true.

That happens. Back to the OP, I'd be surprised if anything big makes it into Va law, gun-wise. You live there so you'll let us know. And some changes could be good for your business possibly.

                  Never? Depends on time scale.

MA has restrictive ammo laws, some say stupid. Put there at the behest of MA ammo merchants who complained that internet sales from out of state were cutting into their action.

I've sold some ammo from my collection into MA, and also passed on sales. What MA guys seem to want to do is get their payment in the mail before you figure out it's going into MA. That's annoying. I have sympathy for their predicament but it isn't my problem to solve.

An example of regulation used to improve a bottom line.

Another: all of those Korean M1 carbines. How come they're not here already? Lord knows there's a demand for carbines. Well the AR guys figure it will cut into their business.

                    MA is not Va,

publish a list of those merchants and they will likely be out of business,

likely more like the state wanted the sales tax income,

I have no issues selling to MA, I research the restrictions on firearms , and expect the buyer to show me a Class A for any high cap mag,
had a few try to tell me they are LEO and exempt,,, that don't fly

it is already hurting some business here, short term yes, but nevertheless some local folks are no longer buying used AR's, they are worried they will get stuck with them (both have websites, but don't sell nationally via gunbroker or the like, )

and no one pays much for any used AR in this saturated market (used market is generally 40% markup, so I am only gonna pay $300 for the avg AR, if that,)

As it happens, there was a video out today by a nytimes reporter who bought a glock19 kit and took it to Virginia to finish himself and to test it. It took him 6 hours to finish the frame. With practice and tools probably get that under an hour. No FFL involvement, no SN.

not sure where you are going with this,

he could legally buy the parts and frame anywhere,

                          and assemble it anywhere,

and it is legal to do so,, (no FFL needed, no SN required unless you sell it, )

                          got a link?

Just another wrinkle on the gun discussion. Personally I'd buy the real thing legally because I figure the QC is better that way, and if I'm going to bet my life on it, I want it to work. But as the story says, for someone who can't/won't buy with a background check, then there is this. I would think states will start regulating kit guns if the Feds do not.

Let me point out that the claim is bogus. The frame IS the gun. All frames are serial numbered. So he couldn't assemble a gun without a serial number that way.
