No! The loudest critics of the FBI are the innocent people whose lives have been ruined by liars and bullies with badges that happen to be FBI agents. These guys are the same jackasses that was once called the German Geheime taatspolizel and in Russia, the Cheka, NKGB, NKVD, and MGB.

-If you don’t consider FBI lying, concealment of evidence, and manipulation of documents in order to spy on a U.S. citizen in the middle of a presidential campaign to be a major scandal, what is? But none of this is aberrational: the FBI still has its headquarters in a building named after J. Edgar Hoover – who constantly blackmailed elected officials with dossiers and tried to blackmail Martin Luther King into killing himself – because that’s what these security state agencies are. They are out-of-control, virtually unlimited police state factions that lie, abuse their spying and law enforcement powers, and subvert democracy and civic and political freedoms as a matter of course.
Well, yeah, they have a little clout. Who doesn't if your work for the gov. It's small time mostly. Ya, know, spying on the ex(at least the outfit I worked for in the hinterlands). I'm so tired of being falsely accused and sent to prison for felonies I didn't commit. Every time I turn around I'm being arrested for murder or embezzlement or money laundering.If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.Comment

You really think for one second that if Trump got control over the FBI in the usual way of dictators, he could resist the temptation to turn it loose on his political opponents? The man lives for enemies, lives for conflict. He hates winning more than he does losing. Probably because winning reminds him that nothing so far in this world has filled that void. A FBI that Trump is pissed at is one that lets me sleep at night much moreso than one that is in the business to regularly bring him fresh scalps on order.Comment
