The Boy Scouts - not the same as when I was one ...

I loved being a Boy Scout. I'd get on the Bus in my uniform complete
with staff and 5" blade sheath knife on my belt (try that today).
The real youngsters had their own group - Cub Scouts, and the
Girls had The Girl Guides. (This was in England).
There was even a Boy Scouts Department Store in Victoria where
everything to do with scouting was available - my parents took me
there to get me rigged out. Camping trips were a blast.
Today, Boy Scouts of America has the LGBT perverts in it's ranks as
well as Girls, so is it any wonder that they're losing members at an
    alarming rate.
In the article, I'm not sure what Perry means when he says that
Boy Scouts is not available outside the US and Canada. They're
all across the World plus the organization was founded in the UK
by Lord Baden Powell in 1908.

From Jan.1, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will take 400K young people out of the Boy Scouts

You do know that it is well researched that, Lord Baden-Powell was gay, right?

That "research" was conducted long after he died. They said the same about Montgomery. The Victorians had a somewhat more intense view of friendship than we have today.

Is that what they called it back then? Well...still pokes holes (pun intended) in Dogtag's theory that the Boy Scouts were any different now then back in his day.

Royal Navy too. Maybe an island is like a big ship

One often hears references to rampant buggery among sailors in the glory days of the Royal Navy. Sometimes, it’s said, young boys called “peg boys” were on board solely for the purpose of providing pleasure to the officers. What’s the straight dope on this? —Wm. Bligh, Chicago Not an easy question to…well, I guess we […]

In 1911 when challenged by a group of admirals who said something went against the "traditions" of the Royal Navy First Lord of the Admiralty Winston Churchill replied:
"What are the traditions of the Navy ? Rum, sodomy and the lash. Good morning, gentlemen !"
I was an Eagle Scout, I am saddened to see that organization destroyed by PCness.

Ye have been charged of the heinious crime of buggery on the 'igh seas.

Boys will be boys. Young boys. C'mon. When I was in the scouts and on camp outs there was always one guy who went on about how hard he was getting. OK. I even shared a tent with a guy who went on about how hard he was getting. Goodnight No problem. How about sharing a tent with a grownup who is going on about how horny he is? My scoutmasters were genuine grownups who had raised kids and wanted to help.

At the last gunshow we ran across a friend who used to do a lot for the scouts. He was at one time semi-government guy who escorted mid-east prisoners to jail. He got stabbed once on the plane. A fairly tough guy We met him because he bought a bunch of M1 Garand stocks from us to give to the boys to work on. So we asked him about the scouts. He said he and a bunch of others had quit. Now maybe he was burned out dealing with teenage kids, but his story was; when queers get to work with boys and girls are in the boy scouts and LGBET@QWA ect. get involved he bailed. His forecast was the boy scouts are over. We'll see.

Help me out here, if you were ever a Boy Scout or a sailor, that means you are a queer?

When I was a teenager, I was an active girl scout. I preferred blondes.
