    Richard Jewel movie is DANGEROUS

Clint Eastman's movie Richard Jewel is being blasted by the MSN as being a flop. Could the reason be all the negative stories in the MSN telling everybody that it is a sorry film and a flop?

Actually the movie pretty much lays out how the FBI and the MSM can ruin a innocent person's life with no defense possible. Richard Jewel was actually an innocent wannabe cop with no evil intentions. He was working as a private security guy when he found the bomb at the Centennial Olympic Park in 1996. He warned people and called the bomb squad.

Afterwards, a AJC news reporter using a leak from the FBI identified Jewel as the bomber and his life was ruined. It was actually 2004 before the real bomber confessed.

Does any of this ring a bell. It is absolutely the same thing that is happening with Trump, the MSN, and this time the FBI is joined by other agencies like the CIA, etc, etc.

That's why the movie is being ridiculed in the press. It is an interesting movie, go see it... OH, BTW, I went to see it on Dec. 13. I couldn't get in... it was sold out. But I saw it today.

Doubt there is any streaming of movies in prison. At least they are not all of a sudden dead. Richard Jewel made a mistake the day of the Centennial Park bombing. He gave a convenient solution to those desperately seeking an quick and easy answer to an inconvenient situation. The accuse first and figure things out later folks found in him what they wanted ... a made to order terrorist suitable for their 30 minute news cycle ... a nice soft target to be chewed up and spit into prison by the judicial system. Oddest thing ... he was completely innocent in every possible respect. He was never involved except in doing his job ... as a security officer. That he survived every effort to make him the victim of a full on legal lynching is nothing less than remarkable. Now as to Manafort and Stone ... they were convicted due to a preponderance of the evidence, etc. And of course everyone agrees they were guilty. As to Jewel ... he was found completely and totally innocent. But, it's hard to find anyone responsible for destroying his life who seem to see any reason why he is due anything ... an apology ... compensation, etc. Wonder ... why? Sincerely. bruce.

Bruce, many people say that Manafort and Stone got a bad deal because the evidence against them was improperly acquired. Is this a common defense tactic when the evidence is stacked against someone? Absolutely. It's also being heard a lot these days from people inside and close to the current administration. In a possibly-related matter, Trump has to pay $2M to NY for stealing from his own charitable foundation.

Richard Jewell (2 L's) got a raw deal by the FBI. I remember that and felt really bad for the guy. What a nightmare prospect, to be doing your job and suddenly law enforcement comes down on you.
