San Francisco is now awash in human waste

The homeless are now pooping in stores and biting workers. Rats are swarming around the poop and there is danger of an epidemic.

    Check it out:

dude pooping in the store is likely mentally ill,

when I was in the grocery biz, we had a moron on the night crew one night decide it would be funny to crap in the meat case,

not sure why, probably trying to make a statement since he quit that morning,

meanwhile, lots of time spent sanitizing the place afterwards,

one of my old boss's was running a store in the hood, and had to walk across the parking lot daily to the bank for change etc,

walked past 2 cars parked side by side, and a woman was in between them, squatting down, taking a dump,

she just dropped her load, smiled, stood up, let her housecoat fall back to cover herself up, and went shopping,

My wife read an article recently that stated the mayors of NYC, SF and other s**tholes were sending these homeless by plane to the Gulf Coast and other pro-Trump areas, giving them a couple of weeks paid hotel stays, then after the money ends they are homeless again but in Red states.

Doesn't this sound like the ideal way democrats would deal with THEIR problems?

How'd you like to be the stewardess on one of those planes? How'd you like to be the cleanup crew for one of those planes?

Pardon the pun, but the story about plane rides out of town for the homeless doesn't pass the "sniff" test. If someone hasn't flown recently, the logistics are complex and highly electronic, from proper ID to boarding passes. Now a bus ticket....maybe.

Some if not most homeless people have ID. Some if not most are citizens. They can fly on a plane but the means of travel is definitely not important.

Well if the story can be found, glad to read it.

Each year, US cities give thousands of homeless people one-way bus tickets out of town. An 18-month nationwide investigation by the Guardian reveals, for the first time, what really happens at journey’s end

San Antonio's homeless population is poised to grow slightly, thanks to New York City. More than 12,000 homeless New Yorkers are being relocated to about 370 cities around the country. San Antonio is expected to receive several people from New York, all of who are getting a year's worth of rent and money for furnishings, courtesy of NYC.

The city of Portland began a pilot program Thursday, to buy one-way bus tickets for homeless people who approach agency staff to say that they have family to stay with in another city.

"San Francisco, which like Seattle has seen an increase in its homeless population, has sent about 10,500 people to other cities on buses since 2005. "If these relocation programs did not exist, and the people San Francisco has bussed out of the city had stayed put, there could be as many as 18,000 homeless people currently in the city, more than twice the current population," The Guardian reports."

Okay so busses, but in one article NYC flew someone to Hawaii (maybe to a relative). Bus tickets make sense.

California pulls people in from out of state because of the mild climate. They'd have to buy a lot of bus tickets to get a positive outflow of vagrants.

So, do you believe there are expansive Red State programs for poor and homelessness? I mean, dollar for dollar...the tax revenue is usually generated other places.

The question gets at the cross section of homelessness. Some are homeless due to mental illness and/or substance abuse. Some are working poor in areas where the cost of housing is high. Others may be escaping bad situations and relocate to get a fresh start. The Okies of the dust bowl era were economic migrants.

Minneapolis is a very liberal city, but less inviting in the winter months for obvious reasons that have nothing to do with social programs.

The hoards of people leaving California are buying their own tickets (one way).

Interesting that public hygiene and sanitation are no longer matters of civic pride. But they survived the AIDS plague, they'll survive this one.

Like the Aztecs survived small pox.
