Can you say Hare Krishna? Enthusiastic naive young people wasting time. But, they are young, they are going to waste time on silly stuff. I'm not anti-anti climate change, just that tilting at windmills has always been kind of fruitless.
Youth protesting climate change

I think I have found the answer after much thought and consideration(not). AIR CONDITIONING is the problem. Back in the day before air conditioning, being hot was the norm in summer. It's called "aclimating" to the temp. Now there is a/c everywhere and everyone is used to being cool, so when they go outside it seems "hotter" than ever. So we blame it on the "climate" instead of "I don't want to get my lazy butt up and go outside and sweat" anymore. There is where the youngsters come in. They have never known a time when you stayed hot all the time (before a/c) and sure not going to work outside if they can help it. So, in comes the scoundrel (climate change, global warming, whatever) and now they get to stay inside because they will get "too hot" outside. Nice plan.
And, yes, I believe the world will carry on till God decides to end it, not man. -
When I see these young protestors turn off their central heating and air conditioning, riding bikes to school, giving up all their electronic devices and helping their parents do the wash by hand, THEN I'll believe they're serious.Comment

Believing the kids are serious is one thing.
Believing in a slush fund for the democrats called "global warming" is quite another.
As bought out many times before, other countries pollute way more than the U.S. Let them dump billions of their dollars down the hole now. The U.S. has wasted enough.Comment

We just need to eliminate Russia to solve the global warming problem."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. UllmanComment
