As that is what Pelosi is hoping will happen, She wants to
introduce new evidence because what is contained in the
articles is nonsense. She can't do this unless the Republicans
cave and allow her to get away with it. She may appear to be
losing her mind, but she's very shrewd and savvy.
Either that, or what I thought earlier - that she will not transfer
them to the Senate, thereby forcing McConnell to dismiss out of
hand. Then she can cry foul and say Trump is guilty but because
of unfair tactics practiced by the leader of the Senate he has thus
escaped justice.
So, Don't give an inch McConnell because if you do, she'll take a mile.
