The deal was Iran gets assets unfrozen (their money to begin with) in exchange for putting their nuke program in mothballs. Since then the deal is broken. First by Trump (sorry but it's true) then the Iranians. If "maximum pressure" doesn't work--someone please tell me what exactly it's supposed to do--then in 10 years or so we're looking at a doubly pissed off Iran with an A-bomb. Well, some of us are, plus our kids and grandkids.Comment

Everyone knows this was just an avenue for Iran to get money and lifted sanctions. If a little, piss poor country like NK has nukes you and everyone know that Iran has them and has had them all along. Iran has never allowed UN inspections. Why is that?
Iran has the backing of Russia and China and can obtain anything they desire in the form of weapons and military technology.
Perhaps that's why Russia needed the uranium that Hillary provided? To fill nuke orders from Iran.Comment

And if that argument fails, the backup argument is that Russia and China will support the Iranian bomb. Fact: they didn't want to see it either. And if THAT argument fails, say that Iran never allowed inspectors in. See below.
Inspectors were allowed into their nuclear facilities. The Iranians are sensitive about letting inspectors into their military facilities, but who isn't.
Again, it takes a specialized industrial base to produce material for a bomb. That's true whether one is going the Uranium or Plutonium route. Can you explain the difference? If you can't, then why be so sure in your opinions?

Iran has not and does not allow UN inspections, just guided tours at the most.
When buying a finished product you don't need to do any testing and you don't need a site to build them.
