I think it will so a member with several accounts can make a comment, click on the box above to switch accounts, comment again, switch, etc. Only one user name at a time is logged on.

This would eliminate having to type in the info every time. How else would a user with multiple accounts be able to comment under different names within seconds of each other (all the time) but only show one of the persons logged in?
        that part is obvious,

the comment was I could reply w\o logging in,

any password manager will save mulitple passwords and log in info for a variety of sites, or log in names,

This has you upset. Let me suggest you look to Occam's Razor for your problem solving answer.

Select the answer that provides for the fewest assumptions. There are probably not duplicate accounts.

Respectfully disagree. I think JB Books and Gun Smoke are run by the same person. There is also a trait in some people where they accuse/condemn others for the thing which they themselves guiltily practice. To paraphrase Shakespeare: "The Lady Gun Smoke doth protest too much, methinks".

Well if everyone else has let it go then I won't stand in the way of progress. It's dead and buried and no one else will ever bring it up again, will they.
