Election is 9+ months away. So, we have to see their ads every hour of every day for 9 more months. There should be a a limit set on how long they can campaign. Ray you'd have to follow the money, how the new trade deal sends money north compared to the old one, how that money is then captured by the government, and put to work building the wall. Or would it be a private wall with tolls collected. As it was, Trump said he was going to both blow up NAFTA and get Mexico to pay for a wall in a campaign, so in his mind, too different things. If he's such a success then no need to give him credit he hasn't earned--in this case that he is getting Mexico to pay for the wall. Currently the DOD is paying for it by not doing other construction projects. If Mexico was truly paying for the wall, then that wouldn't be happening would it?

No one, even the democrats expected Mexico to deliver a check paying for the wall. You are correct, it was all a part of the new trade deal. One way or another they are going to pay. Hinged upon that too is Mexico finally taking a stand against invaders entering their country to reach ours. The 2300 from Honduras was just the latest. Their police and military have been stopping the invasion as well vs aiding them as in the past.
