Let's hope he gets justice -- a concept foreign to the Democrats.

Remember Nick Sandman, the high school kid who was raked over the coals in the media for "threatening" the old Indian guy at the Right to Life rally??? His suit against CNN just settled. The lawsuit was for $250,000,000.00. I'm sure he didn't get that much but I feel pretty certain the settlement was in the tens of millions. Suits against other news media outlets including NBC and a bunch of individuals for slander, liable, defamation of character and God knows what else are still pending and everyone he's suing is going to pay. What did this poor kid do....he was standing still at a Right to Life rally, he was white, he was wearing a MAGA hat and he was a Catholic who attended a Catholic school. What an awful guy, right? I understand the school, Covington Catholic, has some lawsuits going on as well and everybody they're suing is going to settle for big bucks rather than go to court too.

I'll guarantee Carter Page will be a man of means and leisure sooner rather than later too and, in addition to the news outlets and individuals who will pay up in this, going to be the Federal Government.

        Page's attorney:

Pierce added, “This is only the first salvo. We will follow the evidence wherever it leads, no matter how high."
        Funny.

Fortunately for them, many of the Govt. types involved in the production of dummied up documents, perjured statements and fraud on a court at the highest level in this case are going to be protected by Sovereign Immunity. That is not true of the DNC,
any new outlets or ex government employees involved. I strongly suspect the DOJ is going to settle too.

Don't expect to see much in the MSM on the eventual settlements, just like I had to dig a bit to find out what's going on in the Sandmann case.

Beyond sovereign immunity, if somehow the trail looped back into GOP territory, then the "no matter how high" ethic would disappear like a fart in the wind. Situational ethics are the only kind to be found in places of power these days.

You are correct, certainly in politics.

Fortunately, there is still room for settlement of wrongs committed against an individual in the courts.

Since it is very unlikely that the Trump administration falsified documents to spy on itself your point is pretty much moot on this one.

If he finds another one of those frogs, he can open a brickyard.

Better to be saying it than pretending it isn't true, yes?

How do you think they have built their Socialist platform to run against President Trump. Can you imagine their candidate Bernie telling people he is going to raise taxes to give people "free" stuff?

Why he's going to tax the "rich," of course! He just isn't telling us that everyone who lives above the poverty level (except himself and his friends) are the "rich."
