Trying to get you to understand simple statements in English. Togor, you are a lost cause in congruent thinking. Just stick with "feelings" anything else is beyond your comprehension.

You may remember every other if not every post you made some time ago was nazi or nsds or hitler, or similar,Here we go again: National-of a nation, Socialist-an adherent of Socialism, Democratic-self explanatory, workers-what the Democratic Party always stated it was about, Party-self explanatory.
NAZI - National Socialist [B]German Workers Party
Anybody can read into anything what they want, that is their thing not mine.
Bernie is a Socialist by his own admission and can be their leader on that platform. The Democratic Party is pushing Socialism, it is a National Party...what is hard to understand about that???
The NAZI "stuff" is if one wants to use THE CORRECT GERMAN term for the GERMAN SOCIALSIT PARTY, otherwise use the American term. Again if you disagree with what I have said, quit complaining and use empirical, logical, congruent thought to prove an opposite to my statement.
Sam
so much so several of us wondered if you middle name was Adolphus,
then you had computer issues, and banks, brooks or someone else named after a John Wayne character or western Character showed up saying you were done here,, and then you came back,
emprically, logically, and congruently, hitler has jack to do with todays politics,
some here like to talk a thought to death, thinking that if they talk forever it is true, , others that claim to be conservatives, sometimes want to squash those that talk too much,
squashing the talk is not what a conservative does, since that is not part of the constitution,
and talking it to death does not make it true,,,
how's that?Comment

Oops this was meant for togo's post
His post..
Ray I hope you don't choose to make unsubstantiated claims of "multiple accounts" your signature issue here because you'll be wasting your time and besides I think you know better. You've been on gun forums across the web for years and know darn well that there is a solid minority of gun guys who are just immune to Trump's charms in particular and hucksters in general. It's just the way it is. Not all gun guys share your specific tastes in politicians.
My response..
Not a problem with your positions or what you say, it's the multi posts under different names you post that is crap..Last edited by rayg; 02-01-2020, 07:19.Comment

Hitler's nationalism was based on the German RACE as superior to any other, therefore the German nation was to be considered better than any other, and ended up with him trying to destroy other races. Trump's nationalism is based on the COUNTRY, not the race. Therefore, not the same thing. He is trying to better the country the way it was intended to be by the founders.Comment

Some depth to the response, but from the outside looking in (say from France or Poland), it amounts to Germany first, regardless of reason. The question I would ask is, which philosophy was better suited to the times then--Hitler's nationalism or FDR's internationalism? Hopefully we all agree on the answer!Hitler's nationalism was based on the German RACE as superior to any other, therefore the German nation was to be considered better than any other, and ended up with him trying to destroy other races. Trump's nationalism is based on the COUNTRY, not the race. Therefore, not the same thing. He is trying to better the country the way it was intended to be by the founders.
Fast forward to 2020, I would prefer we drop comparison of Trump and all of the candidates to Nazis, for the reasons Lyman gave. But if Boggs persists in making it a topic then it's a topic.Last edited by togor; 02-01-2020, 07:28.Comment

I decided to come back, got a problem with that? If so, then it is the monkey on your back not mine. As I said before PROVE ME WRONG WITH HARD, EMPERICAL, CONGRUENT THOUGHT NOT FEELINGS! Everyone has "feelings" not all the same and if I have hurt yours then accept my regrets, it was not intended. Reality is a hard master not a friend. You may remember every other if not every post you made some time ago was nazi or nsds or hitler, or similar,

Lyman worth remembering that Communists, Socialists, Trade Unionists, Anarchists,
All had very different and incompatible visions of a future.
Some wanted to destroy capitalism,
Others just wanted to curb its excesses.
Given gilded-era levels of wealth inequality in the USA today,
Some wonder if capitalism needs reform of some kind.
It's hard to look at the history of how business fought tooth and claw against regs on food purity, for example, and not imagine that every once in awhile the people, through government, need to have their say.
In a country of competing forces, no one force should get its way 100% of the time.
Should it?Comment
