I had a swiss rifle once that was one digit(at the end) from being that.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Yes it was. Funny how so many old military cases can be made from 348.
71 Mauser had to buy from Buffalo - long case + 1" neck.
Don't shoot anymore but still have my rifles.

I was tempted to buy one of those many years ago, when they sold for peanuts. Sorry now that I didn't.

Mine was a 96/11. I also own a K31 and a K11. They can bury me with my Swiss and Swedes.

                    I don't have a Swiss, but I have a Swede -- sweet little rifle!

How little is it? Model 96, model 38 and a poor Bubbad 94 that I dolled up some. The 94 is capable of typical Swede accuracy except the front barrel band was not really attached to anything. After a few rds. it would start working its way loose and there went the accuracy. Last week I rigged up a spring affair may put a little upward pressure on the snap that holds it. I am excited to try it out but we had a cold front move through AZ last night and it's in the low sixties so I'm staying by the fire today.

Mine is one of those imported and sporterized by Kimber. I re-stocked it, installed a Bold trigger and mounted an old Weaver K2.5 scope.

I remember those. I saw them at an NRA get together once. With a nice trigger and scope I'm sure it is sweet.

It makes a deer rifle that's hard to beat.
