        Not a statement of fact,

And I would be in a position to know.

Misunderstandings happen, can let it be dropped.

                Good game,

Glad I played, coached my kid, other kids.

                One thing you learn quick,

no use in getting too bent out of shape about the umping on road games,

Not a lot you can do about it

great analogy,, maybe I should watch field of dreams again,,,,,,

means nothing of course,, but then again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,

                      eta,

that last bolded part,, it's really not like you,

not gonna call BS cause if you did spend some time with the kid, , good for you,

however you tend to beat the dead horse to a pulp here, when you insist your point is right,

I visualize you talking the ump until they either toss you from the game, or give in,,,

Most kids at some point are interested or at least think about experimenting with drugs. Some go off the deep end especially when they are at home all day with nothing to do.

                          Lyman,

Kinda makes the point don't it that one can't know everything about another person from little low-bandwidth slices you get here.

Even if one has persuaded themselves otherwise.

Baseball (or softball) is a great game for kids to play. Takes skill, attention to detail. More than a little physical courage. The ball hurts if it gets you, and there's nowhere to hide on the ball field. Learn how to compete without being consumed by it too. I've said this before....if the liability issues on baseball hadn't been settled years ago, no way the lawyers let the game get invented now.

                              not persuaded myself,,,

you do tend to beat that dead horse,, mighty hard,

so imagine seeing real life togor on a ball field,, not doing the same for a call the coach made,,
