That's fine but it doesn't help the ones in this country who really could use it. His billion to Johns Hopkins will go into a fund and they will use the interest to provide scholarships. And most likely use it to allow them to get real low interest loans and never touch the principle. But he can and will claim a huge tax break from the donation and his run for office will allow him another one. If he gave a billion to help others well no tax break.
