Fine evening for our nation. President Trump stood up and spoke up loud and proud. Cool. His supporters cheered. His opponents expressed their dissatisfaction. Cool. Those watching had multiple opportunities to express their own opinions in favor or not in favor. Cool. Tomorrow ... 2/5/20 ... the Senate will vote to decide impeachment. Senators will vote according to their own thoughts ... just exactly as was the case in 2/12/99. Cool.
Today I will be at my church office. Children will be taught and mentored in our low cost day-care program. Hungry people will be welcomed and generously given food and other needed items. Children and adults will be given clothes ... nice and clean and not worn out junk. This afternoon I will be in the nursing homes and personal care home spending time with folks who are alone and lonely. Tonight our children's choir will meet. The parents will have fellowship one with another as together we work to help all the children know they are welcomed, wanted and loved, and to learn the wonderful truth that God loves them. Then ... our adult choir will meet. We will practice the songs that will later be used to lead our people in worship. Come Sunday ... we will seek the face of God in worship. We will give thanks to God for 100 years of sharing w/ Scouting. Our Scouts will post the colors, lead us in the pledge. Our children will sing. Our youth will sing. The Word of God will be opened and shared with all who are present. As the service is concluded, one of our young adult women, a U.S. Marine, will sing a solo hymn of invitation giving folks the opportunity to commit their hearts and lives to Christ. Very Cool.
All in all ... I sit here looking at the rest of the week and thank God for the privilege of living in America ... where those who support President Trump and those who oppose President Trump ... where conservative Republicans and liberal Democrats ... where rich men and poor men and even beggar men ... men and women of faith and hope and men and women of no faith may seek life, liberty and pursue happiness. Cool. Very cool in the extreme! Sincerely. bruce." Unlike most conservatives, libs have no problem exploiting dead children and dancing on their graves."Comment
