    Petty Pelosi

Upon the conclusion of the State of the Union address, Speaker
Pelosi acted like a child in tearing up her copy of the Presidents
speech. What an embarrassment! Not certain what that action would
be called in the political realm; but in the Army I served in I believe it
would be considered 'conduct unbecoming' and disciplinary action
    would be taken.

Regardless of her personal feelings towards the President of the
United States, as Speaker of the House she should hold herself to
a higher moral standard. If she cannot do that, she should step aside and allow someone else the opportunity. Blaming ones actions (or lack
thereof) on someone else's action/s is simply unacceptable. I my opinion,
ALL politicians need to grow the f**k up and start acting like the leaders
'We the People' elected to represent us.

I don't think there is anyone in her party that can set a positive example any longer. The Democratic Party that I knew growing up is gone.

The precedent set by this impeachment will divide the USA forever. Any time there is a President and the House has a majority of the opposing party, he will be impeached. No need for high crimes and misdemeanors, just having 51% of the house votes is all that matters.

In the Trump "impeachment," nobody in the entire world ever thought for a New York second he would be convicted and removed from office... but the National Socialists Party, the stooges, the JJ's did it anyway because they knew it would divide America and cause damage to America. If it would take a revolution and kill 100,000,000 Americans... they are all in for it. Twist and turn, hate and burn is all these traitors know.

Pelosi is a disgrace to our Nation and the Democratic Party!! There should be action taken to remove her from her office and Congress. Trump was right when he said she is a sick person!

At least she didn't try to grab Trump by the .....

Obviously not a great sign for civility, nor was his refusing her handshake. But at some level she's just speaking to Trump in his own idiom. Remember, his rough style of communication is one of the things you like about him. Well, other people can like that too in other politicians, yes? Personally I'd like to see better but we won't until Trump is gone from the scene.

Nancy has her moments and this was one of them for her and her party. Will the President restrict her ability to party on military aircraft @ government expense for "fact finder" vacations?

Yet just one more thing the democrats have f****d up for everyone. The next time the president and house are of the same party the 51% needs to be changed to 2/3 like the senate. This won't prevent this type of BS from happening again but the goals will be harder to reach.

Also, impeachable crimes need to be clearly defined and used when determining the start of an impeachment trial instead of just trying to get someone out of office because your candidate didn't win the election.

Otherwise, yes, this will happen again and can happen again every time the prez and house are of different parties.

Some senator (don't recall who it is nor does it matter) has stated that in the very unlikelihood that Biden gets the nod and election he already has enough evidence on him and his son involving the Ukraine to have him impeached. This is providing the GOP would win back the house.

Things need to change but as long as the dims control the house they like it just the way it is just as they liked the electoral college voting system until it didn't tip to their favor.

                  Okay, for the umpteenth time....

Trump brings a reality TV show producer's sensibilities to the office. It's what he knows. What drives ratings? Manufactured conflict. To the extent that people buy into that conflict, on either side, they're doing exactly what the producer wants. Love what you see or hate it, just watch it. In this respect, Fox and CNN and the Trump administration all play for the same team.

Me? I'm not interested in seeing that program. I don't think the Presidency should be run this way. I want Trump off the air not because I'm filled with hate but because I think he's the wrong man for the job, and that government by executive order (as opposed to legislation) is the wrong way to go. Call me old fashioned but I think politics is best done when boring and substantive, and not juiced up as entertainment for the masses. So no I don't want to see the liberal equivalent of Trump replacing him and governing by executive order either.

Who do you think the "right man for the job" is, some democrat? What choice did you have of electing someone of sort the last election?

Like Trump or not, he isn't the finest example of a moral human being (still better than ANY democrat though) but no one has done more for America than him.

If you don't care to see Trump on TV then by all means don't and shut TFU with your liberal comments here. For you it is definitely about hate.

The Catholics commented in the past that you can not be a real Christian and vote democrat.

I say you can not be a real American and vote democrat.

I agree and it's a problem. Legislation is hard....so what? It's also the way to produce the most durable results. So a side doesn't get everything they want...and has to live with some stuff they don't like. Well that's the key isn't it....they can live with it, in exchange for stuff that has value. It is a whole different mindset however, and the outrage merchants (left and right) don't like it, because an emotionally driven politics creates its own opportunities for ratings. The more things don't improve, the more fodder there is for moving product. Our republic, if we can keep it, and not cede it to a dictator. IMO the most Conservative virtue in politics is self-restraint. It's also fading fast from the landscape.

Let's see -- S&P and Dow just hit new records. Unemployment is lower than ever. Labor force participation is us. Real wages are up. Minorities are benefitting more than the majority, proportionately, with the gap finally beginning to close, illegal immigration is way down, with Mexico cooperating. Just what in all that shows he's the "wrong man for the job?"
