Ray, if you feel validated in some way by this survey, then maybe ask yourself why that is?
Seeking out things to make you feel better about our feelings and thoughts isnt wrong, but being dishonest about why might be.Last edited by Roadkingtrax; 02-14-2020, 07:01."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. Please do explain for us, by the way how did your MMPI go?Anyone who would take 8,000 self-selected responses to this survey as proof of anything should be prepared to explain themselves.

That may well be.
For those who just turned in, the Rorschachh Test is for schizophrenia. Sometimes called the "ink blot test" it consists of a series of water-color blots made by folding the paper lengthwise, producing blots that are symmetrical about one axis. The person being tested is asked what they see, with suggestions for things that are similarly symmetrical, like butterflies, female sex organs and so on. For each blot, there is a suggestion that doesn't make sense, like the clown.
If you examine the edge of the blot, though, you will find a tiny clown's head. If you consistently see the clown, you need a head doctor.

To recap:
DT links to some blog about a survey, throwing in a cheap shot at Marty Feldman
Lyman shows a little love to Marty in Young Frankenstein context
togor +1s Lyman's remark.
RayG really wants to know what togor thinks of the survey. togor tells him that he doesn't think it means much because it isn't scientific in its methodology.
RayG doesn't like this answer so he turns his squirt bottle on togor and 'trax.
A couple of other guys join in because they don't really have anything to add.
This synopsis gets written. Miss anything?Comment

Again, show us another survey.
Also why should I feel validated by the survey as it has nothing to do about me but maybe it does about you, mmmmm? is that why it bothers you ,Comment

Yes, you did. Logic fail of disheartened Liberals going to a right wing conspiracy site to participate in a middle school poll.
Oh, and this:
Detailed Report
Reasoning: Extreme Right, Conspiracies, Misleading/Unproven Information, Lack of Transparency

History
Launched in March 2019, Summit News is a far right conspiracy website. Like most questionable sources this website does not have an about page nor disclosure of ownership. Although not disclosed, Paul Joseph Watson appears to be the owner and editor of this website. Further, Summit News has been banned on Facebook.Last edited by Roadkingtrax; 02-14-2020, 09:53."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. You're asking me to find another unscientific survey that covers similar ground that confirms or disproves this one? Otherwise you're going to run with this one because it confirms your biases?
Is that the request? Just want to make sure before I spend any time on it.Comment

ray, you are dogged. Who does surveys like this? Are you crazy? [yes]. Are you a liberal democrat with mental problems? [yes]. It's internet kookiness running unchecked. X% of schitzo liberals are Marxists. Only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then they're something else. Let's put a bee and a spider in a jar and see if they fight. I think liberals are childish dreamers sometimes. If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.Comment

Also this from the link:
Or, people with mental health issues vote, rationally, for parties that are going to do a better job with, say, mental health care. While the survey is by no means scientific, it does give an insight into how disturbed people are more likely to be attracted to fringe leftist beliefs, which in a lifestyle sense usually encourage degeneracy and a lack of moral responsibility.
Ray, I hope no one in your family ever has a brush with serious mental illness. It's nasty stuff, not to be laughed at or used for cheap political points.Comment
