    What if they all just said .... I don't want to be interviewed. I'll ignore a subpeona . I refuse to hand over any evidence or documents.

    They are free to follow the law. Appeal the subpoena. Ect. Same as anyone else ... including the President. If the court agrees with them, fine. If not, they can seek to appeal up the line. If they fail to persuade the court, they have to comply with the subpoena. If they succeed, they do not comply with the subpoena, same as the President. Of course, if the demand for evidence, documents, interviews, etc. is withdrawn ... etc., then they certainly have the right to complain that the entire business without merit ... just like the President. After all, fair is fair.
