Empirical = measurable, all you have is "feeling", opinion.

Togor, you have to realize this guy is making you spin your wheels for amusement. He'll simply disagree with you at the end.

Fight the good fight if you want, but it's likely your exchange here has a better chance just ending up in the catch rag he uses all day, and not in changing the way he thinks about the current president.

        Oh I know.

He doesn't even understand his own question, much less have a chance of getting the answer. I've heard the term "low information voter", and I don't care for it, but I can see how it came into being. To be clear I am not calling him that because I believe he is smarter than the role he is playing.

The thing is, even a blind squirrel can stumble upon an acorn, accidentally, much less a seeing one. His question gets at the side of Trump that I don't think is grokk'd by the base--that his presidency is one long infomercial for Trump things, using all the tricks that he honed along the way. His whole career is peddling wasted money as luxury, and he's really really good at it. Manufacturing is in recession due to tariffs. Farmers are on USDA welfare. Russia has freedom to maneuver unchecked in resource-rich parts of the world. The federal budget is bleeding red ink during an otherwise strong business cycle, and all of this is Making America Great Again.

This homily brought to everyone by the accidental wisdom of Sam Boggs.

Ray trying to move up the CSP broken record chart? Boggs won't give up the #1 spot easily (NSDs), but it looks like a spirited competition! If it helps I'll root for you. Give 'em heck!

I understand the meaning of the question, it is unfortunately you who are "feeling" in response. Your answer can only be measured with a scale as "How are you feeling on a scale of 1-10.
Togey I feel sorry for you, as a "trained" engineer one would think the concept of empirical you could grasp. Apparently the "training" ideation for you is not as you have stated.

I know you are, but what am I? I know you are, but what am I? I know you are but what am I?
                      Remember that one?

                        one thing,

besides what RKT said about you,

                        you are a true believer,

you truly believe what you type, or appear to, and are not willing to hear the other side,

(hence the last word comments when Gun Smoke was about)

and give the appearance of not being able to comprehend that everyone does not see what you see, or that everyone is not as smart as you,

not an insult,, just a trait you have,
