Have you ever been stopped by a cop that wanted to search your car? If you say no, they say well I stopped you here at 11:00 AM because of your broken headlight (he uses his baton to destroy the headlight) and says "I smell weed, or alcohol..." So we are going to tow and impound your car."

Bullies with badges can do absolutely any thing. They ask for your insurance papers and if you reach into your glove box, they can shoot you and claim you were reaching for a gun. So I keep my registration papers, my DL, and my proof of insurance in a plastic pouch above the sun screen.

My last ticket was in Siloam Springs. AR. I was in the left turn lane at a stoplight. The cop car was in the through lane on the other side. The light turned green. the cop never moved but pointed his finger at me so I made the turn. That got me a $280 failure to yield ticket.

I got pulled over for not signaling to turn left. There was no one in front or behind me.
I was coming up to a 4 way stop where you just take your turn.
Cop car was hiding - training mission showing trainee cop how to hassle motorists.
      Twenty five dollar fixit.

Another time I was pulled over for not wearing seat belt.
I was driving 60 Chevy PU - exempt. Cop didn't apologize. Surprise.

must be a left lane thing,

I got pulled one friday night,

        had beer in the truck,

        uncle and I were out

cop gave me a field sobriety test but never searched the truck,

told me he stopped me cause I stopped too close to the white line,,,,,,,,, and let me go,

another pulled me once on the way home from a late night shift,

he thought I was drunk, had to flash is spot light in my mirror to get me to stop,

I was young, had the radio just about as loud as it would go,

never saw his red lights flashing,

he did not make me get out the truck, (hot night, I was sweaty from work, I may not have smelled all that good,,,)

just told me he thought I was drunk, since I apparently crossed the center line 5 times in less than a 1]4 mile,

I had no idea,, and he let me go

          It's a wonder I don't get pulled over for a Suspected DUI.

Did anybody stop to think that it is not a "legal business" when you are transporting illegal contents? I have a business, with a truck, but I can't run drugs in that truck when I'm on a delivery to a customer. Don't do drugs, but just an example to show people use legal contexts to do illegal business.

I read what Togor posted and its all about probable cause with this exception.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United...or_checkpoints. The agents at these checkpoints can and will stop you and inquire about your resident status. Greyhound buses will stop and people will be asked about resident status. FYI there are bus lines that run from Houston to Mexico City daily.

I believe that a search of a vehicle by Border patrol agents as referenced by togor's link, only applies to Border agents, But the search of a bus can be legally made by "any police" without a warrant, "any were," in the US and not just the 100 mile area, if there is "probable cause" that a crime may be committed. Again because a vehicle is mobile, and in this case a bus, it is not a home unless used as one. Of course creditable probable cause is needed and more then just a guess that there is an illegal or a criminal on board to uphold the search... .

The Republics Border Patrol are fully empowered law enforcement officials with full police powers. In Ohio their basic jurisdiction to guard the borders extends down to Columbus, their ability to arrest and take into Federal Custody is American soil. This is my understanding, can anyone elaborate if I am misinformed?

Ride the roads with Greyhound and with criminals, murderers, thiefs and have an adventure. Don't forget your legal CCW...oh wait, they don't allow firearms on board, those are reserved for the illegals.

greyhound is either virtue signaling, or pandering to it's riders,

                      whichever keeps the seats full,

It might be the cheapest transportation to take...
