Ask a young Sanders supporter and they'll say they only want for their generation what the old folks had, years ago: decent wages, affordable health care, and pensions. Now Sanders saying things like he wants to nationalize the electric grid are bonkers to my ears, but that's a criticism to a specific point.

If the Democrat Party can do that, they will move toward the center and have a chance to take the Presidency next time around. If they cannot, they're likely to spend a lot of time wandering around in the wilderness/
