I find quite a bit of humor in this! The guy was a flat earther. Many flat earthers believe that the sky is actually a ceiling. So a guy that believes the sky is a ceiling set out to prove the Earth is flat by launching himself at the ceiling in a rocket. Not sure exactly how he saw this ending.I dream of a better world. One where chickens may cross the road without their motives being questioned.Comment

The video I watched shows what sure looks to be a parachute that was jettisoned (launched? lost? fell out?) very early in the flight.
Perhaps he planned for the entire rocket to descend under that chute? Perhaps he planned to eject and parachute down?
