    What are you afraid Of???

I am more concerned with what the economy will/is going to do then with the virus. Some will use this "crisis" for political gain that is a given in our political climate. Scared people can/will do stupid things most everyone has seen that in their life. We are continuing to live our life as near as "normal" as possible. Outside gardening season is coming up and I can move my container vegetables outside to let nature take care of them. Starting cool crops now inside to move out in a few weeks and bullet casting season will start in mid April so ordering lead alloy is a need.

It's an election year and elections are how we get Presidents, so....everything this one does is fair game for the campaign, since the whole point of campaigns is arguing job performance, either pro or con. Saying it's political gain as though that is a dirty word entirely misses the point, if that is what you were doing, and I don't think anyone would back a cancelling of elections on account of the virus (well there are a few probably). If Trump stops tweeting long enough to do a salably adequate job of responding to the virus, then he reaps the benefit of that. If he's seen as a screw-up by enough people, then it ought to cost him at the polls. Eventually, reality always intrudes.

Too many people believe what these politicians say and promise or they may be hoping that it might really happen. People need to look at the big picture, these promises cost money and it is not their anymore! Let's build a wall that will not stop the problem instead of improving education of our children and keep our infrastructure fixed. How many pot holes and deteriorating roads are in your area? IMHO!
Healthcare was better and cheaper when we had a choice, buy what you wanted and if you couldn't afford to buy you didn't get penalized.
America lost its chance a a good healthcare when the gov't sued the tobacco industry, That money should have been used to institute a system like Canada has, it's better than what we have, instead of letting each state do what they wanted to with it. Just another opinion.

          What are you afraid of?

          Making my wife mad.

Given all of the alarm on the C virus it appears that the end of the world is almost here. No, wait...that was the Swine Flu I was thinking of. Remember, that was the one the government hurried a vaccine for and a significant amount of vaccinated people came down with Reyes syndrome. I'm sorry, I meant the H1N1 flu that threw everybody into a panic and then went away. The nice thing about being old is that you have seen it all before. Henny Penny, Henny Penny!!!

I have to agree with you on many points, seeing the various "pan-what ever" I have to stop and look at reality. The virus is a possible maybe, the falling stock market is closer to home. Sheeple get scared, stay home and stop buying then what? Our economy slows and then slows some more how much can we stand before DEPRESSION? The left has already stated years ago that with a depression then the left can get rid of Trump. All the left has tried has not worked, just the opposite so now look at how they continue to knock whatever the President does/tries. Who was it said not to waste a crisis? This virus is almost tailor made to help Bernie and harm the President.
