Google "Timothy Zeimer". He was cut loose when newly hired NSC chief John Bolton took the reins.

Let's see what the big fella does.

    But remember,

you have an administration who decries a deep state,

    and scientists,

now turning to them in a serious situation.

Not angry as whether he said it or not, the words are true and I do like it....Lol.. But RTK suspects that it is not attributed to the source you mentioned. And it's playground talk.

I thought truth these days was whatever came from the Office of the Vice President. - Another vague statement, but I don't watch it all that closely. But it sounds vague.

      Default

Oh brother!! Not all the idiots are running for the democratic nomination.- Just slapping something out there. Same thing we all do.

This is hard to fathom of Togey, one observes Togey following "Leader" Sanders on the NSD quest to be the new "Leader" of America.- Mentioning by name. Way early to be predicting.
See it worked!..To anger a Democrat...tell them the truth". Single line to save space. - Rayg.

Here's some Truth for you Ray. Trump has spent his time in office dismantling Obama era pandemic planning. Hope this doesn't make you angry.- No president has any idea what to do about the numerous and various deseases floating around these days. It's not their thing.

First off..are we in an emergency right now NO!- I'd have to agree. Will we be in a somewhat unpleasent place? Maybe. But I doubt it. ME.
-congress said no, and he did not veto any- Two negatives make a positive. I learned that in school.

Timothy Zeimer- Who the hell is Timothy Zeimer? No one should decry scientists. Deep state, whatever that is, no so much.
Hey, it's been a great winter. Here in AZ we have skipped March and gone right to April. Eighty degrees next week. I have actually made a half-assed attempt to stockpile food, so as not to have to go to the grocery store when the da,da,boom, SHTF. I expect I'll outlive this. I could be wrong. Been wrong before.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Was at TSC getting a refill on one of my propane tanks and the manager stated the store was out of dust masks. I also observed that only the small generators were on the shelf, everything else was gone. Wife stated that her store Wal-Mart is out of masks, hand sanitizer and low on everything else. No hand sanitizer available until the middle of the month as the regional warehouse is out of it.
Remember the great ammo shortage when nothing was available and people were hawking a brick of ammo for $50.00? I expect when the flea markets open up in my area the same thing will happen for the "protective" items. Used generators going for the price of new on the local barter boards which is stupid. I expect the gold and silver market will go up as stocks go down and Jim Baker will push more "survival" food whatever that is.

Ok, for the most part, Trump's campaign was fueled by him, at least in the beginning,. Then the people started to contribute big, Now he's the people's president and not beholding to big business' corporations, etc, to any extent, or owing any political party. A once in my life time breath of fresh air, and he's driving the lefties crazy including some on this site, or should I say, the one who uses many different names on here...I love it...Lol...

As far as manufactured products, don't you think the manufactures are ramping up their production right now to replace any shortages of these products. No crisis yet so there is plenty of time any way. The sky is not falling..

It isn't as simple as switching suppliers if 50% of the world's supply for some component just went offline. That's why it's called a supply shock

I would bet that the medical mfg companies in the US could mfg any component to meet any demand in short order, and/or new companies in the US would come on board and mfg the supplies in a short time... The sky is not falling, Lol

That's called "capitalism." When there is a demand, the supply will appear.

                        FDA approvals take time.

In an "emergency" things can/will move quickly ever hear of wartime expediency?

If people aren't familiar with medical manufacturing, it takes awhile to come up to speed. The specifics matter.

Notice how the proponents of "government knows best" instinctively point out how the government will fail to measure up in a crisis.

Eh, no one is saying that, in either end of your argument.
