    Constitutional Question

With the ban in place if a Church held services does the state have the right to stop the gathering of the Faithful? I say no and point to the Constitution as the protecting means of this. Also, some Church members carry "swords" as Jesus instructed his followers to go forth armed.

I'm not sure why you would, and just follow the CDC guidelines.

Need the Bible quote where Jesus tells the faithful to "weapon up".

You must not have the Shotgun News edition, that has Mosin-Nagant coupons for $89.99

Public safety versus freedom of assembly? I imagine the courts would say 'freedom of assembly' could be over the internet whereas the virus needs close proximity.

the Founding Fathers understood epidemics and the need to deal with them in a way that resulted in the fewest dead.

                Luke, 22:35-36
35 Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”
                “Nothing,” they answered.
36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one

The question becomes, in an hour of darkness, does Jesus command the faithful to burn villages, or cower, armed to the teeth, or to go forth in faith, and tend to the sick?

Being a non Believer what gives you the right to ask? As a Believer you would have been familiar to what Luke stated. My question is does the government have Constitutional Ability to stop Church services by force and I say no. Now, our Church has cancelled services except for what we broadcast and that is shown.

Getting a bit testy there to question my beliefs.

But seriously that single reference in Luke is immediately contradicted by the way Jesus allowed himself to be scourged thereafter. As a kid I wondered why he didn't mow them all down. Well, that's not what it's all about, as I came to understand.

as a believer, do you have the right to chastise?
