I am beginning to feel that this is what we are now in. People panicking to the point of fisticuffs's over TP, runs on just about everything. People panicking and showing real fear over just going out. President wants to reopen the country ASAP and being condamned over this, yet if we don't what then? Giving out money we don't have and the banks buying our debt with paper money. People who hate guns now buying them for "protection" of home and hearth. Some large city PD not coming out for some offenses, sanitation workers doing the same. SIP becoming the act of the day, medical supplies growing short and the hope that summer will cut back the virus to buy time.

When I changed our clocks to daylight savings time, I didn't realize it would be the twilight zone.

...which is why those early weeks spent in denial prove so costly. Because as it spreads, exponentially, the good options disappear first.

Poor Florida! First the spring break partygoers, then the NY/NJ escapees. But after Poor Florida comes ... Poor Everywhere Else!

Also if the numbers really spike, things won't open too much except for the YOLO types. God bless 'em, I guess, for getting sick at the worst time to BE sick, but thereby pitching in towards herd immunity.

Our strategy here is: Don't get sick in the first wave. Play for time.

With the unknown going on ,we need to keep our heads up.My parents went through the great depression and world war 2 and they gave all of their kids the skills to cope with anything.FDR speech "Only Thing we have to fear is fear itself.Today we need to fear the democrat party because they want to change America,not for good but for bad.The good that can come from this is a stronger America and the awaking of its population.
