    Social distancing

Should we keep our distance from everybody? It seems that our ruling president doesn't think it is necessary. [Today's news conference] I think I will use common sense and do what I think is best for me and my family, stay home and be anti social if I have to go to town.

It's good practice at anytime, but it's more important today. Don't go out unless necessary, enjoy that home you've worked hard to make I'd say. Keep safe.

Yeah keeping distant and using soap/sanitizer to keep from getting a heavy dose. My wife sewed up some masks from cotton masks, to send to my kid if it comes to it.

They're saying that for healthy people, the amount of virus you get dosed with matters too. Heavy dose, get sicker. Makes sense when you think about it, since #s = time in this virus business.

It's a crowded stage Ray, but it wouldn't kill them to at least attempt to model the behavior they want the public to follow. I think they used to call that "leadership by example".

If they couldn't find anything else to whine about, they would condemn him for wearing briefs instead of boxers, or vice-versa.

I wasn't very old when I figured out that carping, moaning and complaining doesn't accomplish anything -- it takes constructive action.

Would you rather have Hillary? Because that was the only choice we had.

And in the coming election -- are you really going to vote for a man with advanced Alzheimer's?

Just going by things we see and hear. And as critiques go, pretty measured.

That's called "Affirmation" and it's standard for Alzheimer's, People with Alzheimer's tend to live in a fantasy world (reality is too painful) and the most humane thing is to go along with their fantasies. That's why when you go into nursing homes, you will often see 95-year old women in wheel chairs with their hair in pigtails and a baby doll in their laps -- they want to be 8 years old again.
